SM Arnold 4" white pad

This is pad 44-224, listed as a "polishing pad". The color correlates to their mildest larger pad line, though.

I used this today with the Cyclo and Meguiar's Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner. The pad is a nice quality and is reasonably thick. It's thicker than my Cyclo pads, less thick than the LC pads. It didn't cause the shimmy that the VC LC pads caused me. The pads worked nice and smooth, they hold product on the surface well, and have a pretty dense structure. I prefer the quality and finish over my LC pads. These SM Arnold pads fit well on the Cyclo and didn't bump/dust. The LC pads would be nice, but the variable contact face makes the machine really jittery. They were also slightly too large and would rub together in the middle a little.

However, this pad is definitely NOT a polishing pad. It is very mild and would be much more suited to applying a last-step product. I was able to do work with it, mainly because MPPC is very chemically in nature. However, I think a pad with more bite would have worked better.

I will contact SM Arnold to find out if it's the same foam as their regular pad line, because if so, that's listed as their finest pad.

It's a nice pad, and the cost was reasonable. It just isn't a polishing pad.
