So michelle (my wife) convinced me to sign up to a gym with her last night. As we pulled into the parking lot i took notice to the affluent vehicles. Lots of caddy's, bimmers and merc's. The guy who started talking to me about the membership was the General manager of the place, so I told him "how about this, you let me advertise my mobile detailing services here, and i'll sign up for a year." They went for it, and now I'm totally stoched!

I am going to try the same thing, but detail the GM's car for free for the advertising (I already paid upfront for 3 years at 24hr...go figure I have been in the gym 3 times in 4 months...LOL! Life happens, and there is more to life than hitting the gym for me!

HA! they've allready got your money man. Good luck.

I hate gyms, but 30$ a month for 24hour advertising is money well spent in my book. OH and i can go work out and check out some hot talent while i'm there-sounds good to me!

THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!!!

I'm already a member of my local LA Fitness gym and the owner or whatever drives a Ferrari 360. I think I'm gonna approach him about this. A give you a free wash/seal/wax you advertise for me.

What do you guys think?

You'd be surprised to find out that a lot of connections and networking are built in the franchised gyms! Two of the top AIG executives got their jobs at AIG from networking at the gym. Ironically, however, one of the AIG execs got beaten up in the gym locker room after the collapse of the corporation.
