Sleepless in PDX

Completely new to the car detail thing. My father in law said get a Griot's RO and get those cars to shine. Soooo, I have a Griot's RO on the way and started to research what car detailing is all about.

Washing, rubbing, polishing, sealing, waxing, 6", 5", 3" pads... Starting from literally no experience at all I find it hard to wrap my head around all of the products needed to complete the process.

The pictures I see from this forum get me so exited I can't sleep. Which is fine I guess since I still need to read through the ton of information and start ordering products.

:welcome !

browse the different forums and use the search function and you'll come across some good info...

I just started a couple of months back myself. This forums search function is the best! Practiced on my cars first, which brought in my friends cars after they saw my WET salsa red 4runner. It is addicting, my greenhorn advice is be patient (don't rush the job).

Have fun!

Tim

Mediocre pic kinda shows the great finish
