SIP or Final Polish

Hi guys, I learned a lot from this forum and looking to see which polishes I need to fix these paint defects. I have hard water spots, cobwebs and medium scratches. Will the Intense Polish be too much or will the 106ff/Final Polish be good enough? I own a PC 7424 and some Meguiars pads.

it is a 98 grandprix. always outside. here is the worst of it

From your post, you stated SIP and Final, yet said Intensive Polish later.. There is Super Intensive Polish and Intensive Polish. Intensive Polish on an orange pad might do you some good on a couple passes, but from what I gather.. its likely you'll need to go with the Super Intensive. The second picture shows some major scratches along with the swirls.

from reading the forum many guys like Mezerna polish. i dont get whats the difference between Super Intensive polish and Intensive Polish besides aggressiveness?? are they both cleaners/polishers/glazes, etc? Do they have any polishing qualities?

I am in search of the deepest, richest color that brings the black out. thanks 4 any recommendations 2 help me reach my goal :bow

SIP and IP are polishes. SIP is the uprated version of IP which was designed for super hard ceramiclear of mercedes, bmw, audi and vw and work well on other hard stuff too.

I would also recommend SIP for your car and then 106ff(the sort of finish polish analogous to Final polish though for ceramiclear) to clean up any haze.

You could do it with IP and FPII its just gonna take you some playing around and probably more time.

SIP for the scratches. Ultrafina for the finish. Ultrafina is my new favorite polish and prefer it over the 106ff anyday. Love the fact you can finish wet with it.

But the SIP will get it done for you with either a orange LC or yellow Sonus pad. SIP and IP are pretty much the same thing. Niether is ultra strong but does the trick.

Another vote for SIP here. 4" orange LC pads and SIP. It'll probably take multiple applications of the SIP to effectively remove those defects. They're pretty bad.

Ultrafina or Menz PO106FF (aka Nano Polish) would probably be best to follow up the SIP. 4" LC white pad and the 106FF would be my choice.
