Simple Green

I was in the Autozone today ans saw Simple Green, its label is marked Automotive( immediately under the Simple Green name), I see Simple Green in WalMart and otherplaces, but doesn't specifically say Automotive on the label. Is there a difference? Is one really more effective on General APC requiremetns than the other on the vehicle?

I have both the SG Automotive and Simple Green "normal." I can't say that I find much difference between the two for my purposes - cleaning rims, engines and grimey parts. If you already have SG APC, I wouldn't bother to add the Automtive until you find something that SG doesn't handle. At that time, maybe try the automotive.

That's my take FWIW.

simplegreen automotive seems to not clean as good as the "other" one. this is just my non-observing observation. lol. with the sutomotive simple green full strength, id spray it direcgtly on the wheels and then hose off and the majority of the dirt would stay on. with the "olther" one i can just spray and hsoe off and 80% of the grime will be gone. i love simple green. its my favorite apc on non-aluminum wheels/tires.

thats what i uses......its some tough stuff so i try to keep it far away from the paint as i can. but there probally the same stuff but with the joe shmoe out there probally didnt even know you could use it on cars so if they put automotive they introduce the product to many more people. its proball the same stuff but ive never tried it.

I was under the impression that the automotive SGreen was a diluted version or the regular version! Anyone know?

How is Pro Series Simple Green Automotive Cleaner different from the regular Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner?

Both products are based upon the same non-toxic, biodegradable formulation. Here are three ways in which Pro Series is different from regular Simple Green: 1. Pro Series is a ready-to-use product created specifically for automotive uses. 2. Pro Series contains no colorant, and has a different, lighter scent than regular Simple Green.

so i guess its dilluted already since its ready to use, also has a diff. scent!
