Simoniz products, new at Walmart?

Sorry if this has been covered already. I did a search, and tried going back through posts, but didn't see anything.



Recently, there have been an invasion of these bright orange bottles of Simoniz (I believe that's how it's spelled, anyway) detailing products on Walmart shelves. Any reviews of this stuff?
 
I'm skeptical as well, but I'm trying to reserve judgement until I hear from someone who's had first hand experience with it.
 
Simoniz is a brand sold only in Canadian Tire in Canada, it's been around for years. I was under the impression that it was their store brand of detailing products. In any event in my experience it's almost all trash. They have a cheap pressure washer that's ok, but their mf's, waxes, polishes, etc...all cheap crap. Just imo.
 
their 64oz shampoo for $1.68 works great.



If I am detailing a car that is going to be polished it doesn't really matter what shampoo I am using in my opinion.
 
Simoniz was the wax my father used 60 years ago. It once was the only wax. Hence, the term "compond and Simoniz " for what is now term polish and wax. ( it was also used on furniture etc.)
