Silver paint

silver is one of those colors that really never shows all of the effort you can put into making it shine like a dark color can. personally, I like the bfwd sealant and bfms wax either separately or in combination. any of the poorboy's natty's waxes are great.

Silver can be thankless in terms of labor verses finished product. You can get "quality" silver to blind you if its quality paint and you can achieve "optical perfection" as the term goes. I did a silver Lexus last week. The car "glowed" in the sun. The paint quality was excellent. I was able to remove 99 percent of the car wash marring. Many of my clients rip there cars to pieces at the local CW

Assuming the silver paint is in good condition. Clean it up real good with Duragloss 501 and top it off with 111 or Finish Kare FK1P.
That'll make it nice and sparkly. :)

IME BF can darken silver *way* too much for my taste, but that's just me.

I *love* how 4-Star UPP looks on silver (use it on my S8) but the durability is so-so and the protection is virtually *NIL*.

My fave on silver is FK1000P hands-down. Perfect LSP for that color and as durable and protecive as conventional LSPs get IME.

I have a silver Subaru and my fravorite sealant wax is Auto Finesse Tough Coat with Auto Finesse Essance wax on top. The gloss is amazing and sheathing is great. It does not darken my metallic paint but adds miles of depth of gloss.
