Side Mirrors Cleaning Question

I have a 2006 Pontiac Torrent with plastic painted side mirrors housing.

After cleaning the car today I noticed a few little scuff marks from road debris on my side mirrors housing.

I am pretty sure the side mirrors housing are painted to match the colour (red) of my vehicle.

Is there anything I can use on the mirrors to remove or hide these marks?

I only tried some spray wax witch made them dissappear until they dried and then they were visable again.

If they're clear coated just level it out. Megs scratchx 2.0 is very user friendly, can easily be found locally and is probably what you're looking for.
