Feb 16, 2003 #1 M Marty New member I clayed the car about 2 months ago. I am going to use a PC and some DACP to remove some swirls/scratches. Would I need to clay the car again? The car has not been properly hand washed for about 2 months but 95% of the time it is garaged.

Feb 16, 2003 #3 I imported_Intel486 New member There really isn't too much harm in claying again as long as you don't use a piece that is loaded with grit from the first time you clayed it. In 2 months though the paint probably didn't get that rough.

Feb 16, 2003 #5 A Accumulator Well-known member Marty- As Intel486 said, there's no problem with (gently) claying again. You might be surprised what has got on your paint. Claying can ensure that nothing nasty and/or abrasive contaminates your foam pad when using the DACP.
