SG Under Power WOOWOO

With SG and my black car I have always had problems with hazing and streaking mind you a spritz of water takes it off but that may mess up the cross linking.

Anyway today I did my moms Cavallier and I did the wash/clay/AIO then thought about Wolfgang but figured what the heck.

I applied the SG with my little cordless R/A and did 1/2 the hood. I used a 4" pad and first off laid a X on the pad of about 1/8" lines then as required I only added 3 drops the size of a pencil eraser. The X more than was enough for 1/2 the hood. Also after adding the 3 drops you want to start applying in the center of the area your working on and work to the outside that way you can pass over the SG and get it thin.

I immediatly removed it with my PC on 5 with the stock pad on a 16" MF. I just let the PC run on the area till I felt no resistance. It took 2 towels to do the removal and I was using the Costco yellow towels which I have had *very* good luck with. Some have been washed 8/10 times with no deterioration.

After I got the 2 halves of the hood done I found I could apply SG to 1/2 the roof or a complete door before buffing off.

Even out in the full sun later I saw no hazing or streaking. Now maybe on black it would be different I don't know but the total time for wax on wax off was about 40 minutes.

Come spring I may start with AIO/SG applied this way to see how it goes. Right now I have FMJ / #16 and I'm not going to mess with it.
