SFX2 stay under 3500 OPM?

I just recieved my sonus sfx pad kid. With the white pads (sfx2) it says to stay below 3500OPM with the PC. Am I reading that correctly?



So is setting 3 considered 3000 OPM? Cause every thread Ive read, people say they are using speed 6 on thier pc with the polishing compounds.
 
I've used the Sonus SFX pads with the PC as high as 6. Just be sure to use enough polish to lubricate the surface well and don't let it dry out.
 
I have used my SFX-2 Pad on 4 cars now and I've found my favorite speed to be in between 4 and 5.



I believe they were talking about on a rotary don't go past 3000RPM
 
I think they're reffering to a rotary, and to stay below that many RPM/OPM



With a pc I DON'T believe that the Speed setting 1 = 1000 RPM/OPM, 2=2000....Ther'e is just a generic "speed" setting which is unrelated to OPM/RPM...
