Hi love checking out other Detailing vans to see how we can improve our set up. we have a Chevy Astro Van (not a commercial model-got it cheap in excellent condition) I have a 65 gal tank and a Mytee lite II, Pressure Washer...., but i want a better more permanent system. I would love to see other set ups. i found a bunch of different pic already but any new ones and ideas?Chevy Astro Van (7).jpg

Ok great that helps...looking for more CONSTRUCTIVE Criticism. I worked on building a wood frame and shelves so without any real input we figured it out. To bad I couldn't get some real input here.

Looks like you got that baby packed well. How much water do you use on a car? How often do you have to fill the water tank?

Maybe you need some better storing mechanism for supplies behind the front seat. I see some use plastic storage units with drawers to keep things more organized. You do not seem to much hanging from the sides.

yeah I recently reorganized our van with a wood frame box for the tank and shelves for the back, i'll post pics soon
Thanks

I am now putting together a Mobil Detailing business together . I found a 1996 cargo van e-350 with 118,000 miles on it for 925,00---- found a water tank in the woods of middle tenn for 50 bucks that holds 330 gallons of water---Got a new 2200 Honda pressure washer at a pawn shop in Memphis for 100 dollars.. so i am looking a ideal to set it up so it can work for me.. I like the wood idea.. may find some old pallets and custom fit them for my washer and hose reel..Thanks Miranda Detailing

Isn't a big water tank and wooded shelves going to add a lot of weight? Would that make for less gas mileage and more wear and tear on the engine and suspension?

how do you post a picture to your profile???

If you want an avatar next to your name in the posts, you go to User CP (above the thread area) and then select Edit Avatar. The pic has to meet certain size requirements.

Cool thanks I will never put 330 gallons of water in it unless im on a 50 truck lot and need the water.. will never travel with it..

I'll post some pics of my set up soon, I think I got it just the way I want it. With a 4x8 Sheet of plywood, and some great scrap pieces of 2x4's and other plywood pieces, i was able to build a nice shelve and box around the tank and elevate it also. then painted it grey to make it look nice. works well with the mounted pressure washer and hose real to the plywood makes things easier.
Thanks for good feedback.

Finally got things together and set up our van the way we want.
Check it out
