Hey guys just me with another crazy marketing question. I have a temporary location set up directly across the street from the self serve car wash. How would you go about markrting this location & your services to these folks? Obviously they enjoy getting out on nice days and rising off some of the winter salt and dirt and from what I have observed they are typically in a hurry. They are washing there cars for about 3.00 dollars now there is no way that I'm Going to hand wash a car for that little amount of money. What can I do to tap this market any feedback would be appreciated.

You have an ideal area to market yourself. You have people that are washing there cars and doing other things to it. So you can assume that they care about what the car looks like. I would go over and talk to them, have a look at there car and tell them about your services. You might get a few wash wax jobs on the spot but I would be looking for get jobs booked up for full details on future days.
I have a local hand held wash that I go to in the winter and I always take my biz cards a long and pick the cars that I would like to get as details. I've booked a few jobs this way and its no hassle as people love to talk about their cars

Wouldn't that be considered soliciting on other peoples commercial property. I'd be afraid the owner would come after me with an ax! Just thought I'd point that out.......but as we all know, you gotta do what you gotta do!
