Seems like i am in the minority here but...

I have used many products that people claim look better than such and such. I have put 2 products on side by side and I have layered products. They all look the same to me except for zaino. I have noticed no difference at all between different nubas. I have noticed almost no difference between sealants other than zaino. Zaino gives a super high gloss thats almost plastic looking but not really.

Example 1. AIO entire car. Top left hood with nattys blue right with S100. No difference what so ever.

2. Z2PRO entire car then top with S100 on half the hood just to see the difference. There was none.

3. Poli-Seal entire car then #16 on one side and nattys blue on the other then S100 on half the trunk then Souveran on the other half and again I see no difference.

Am I blind?

I am going to order opti-seal soon and I think if it works well my combo for everything I do will be poli-seal topped with opti-seal. Quick easy done!

Probably not. ;) You most likely prep very well and maximize the depth and gloss of your paint.:goodjob

The new Zaino line is just very deep, wet and produces max gloss and reflections that last.:wavey

LOL thanks. I just couldnt figure out why I never noticed a difference in anything other than zaino. I was starting to wonder if I was crazy. :spit:

I agree with you. If the car is prepped correctly, you will most likely not see a difference between two reasonably well performing products. This is exactly the reason I feel that buying Pinnacle Souveran has been my biggest waste money since I started detailing.

I heartily agree on proper prep with compound, glaze or polish being the most important. Wax or a last step should really be a protectant to the hard work you've accomplished.

I do see a difference between a sealant and a carnuba in some colors. Black seems to deepen with a coat of Pinnacle Souveran IMO.

IMO it just depends on the particular paint and, to a lesser extent, what you're used to seeing.

I can tell when my Jag (weird ss metallic lacquer) has something different on it because it just looks a certain way with Souveran and I've seen it look that way for many years. Anything else just looks "off" to me and I can clearly see/explain the differences.

My wife sometimes spots LSP changes that I'd *never* expect her to see...I never tell her that I changed anything and she asks why her car looks different :nixweiss

But on the Blazer I can't tell which panels have what on them without relying on memory or my notes.

If you do/don't see a difference, then that's just the way it is, and it's probably fortunate because you can choose your LSP based on ease-of-use and durability. Heh heh, if 476S looked the same as Souveran on the Jag, I'd be happy to use it exclusively!

Everyone's got a different eye - it's hard to see split panel LSP changes, but if I do my hood with one product and the front quarters with another product I can usually tell the difference.

Zaino definitely stands out optically... thats a big part of why it's such a contested product... some people love the look, others hate it.
