Second Hand Makita 9227, possible issues to look out for?

Hi all,

Just looking for some advice around buying a second hand Makita 9227CB.

The owner says he's had it for 9 years and only used it once to do one door. And uses his Rupes instead.



Are there any issues associated with buying such an old unused machine? e.g. bushes, bearings etc.

If it's hardly been used it should be OK, not like they go bad from sitting around. But I'd still check that the spindle doesn't wobble and that the trigger and speed dial work OK.
