removing cquartzUK

I want to take CquartzUK/reload off a fender.

Can I do it with Meguires 105/205 a GG6 and white and blue pads?

thanks

Nope. Worst case you'll need to use the white (polishing) pad, but not 105.

thanks
The reason I thought I would have to use 105/205 is a few weeks ago I had a reload stain on my door and it took both 105 and 205 to get it off so I'll report back here after I use just the 205 on the fender

ok, the GG6 set on 5, white pad, got all the reload highs off and left the surface good for a sealant I'll choose from my arsenal, probably crystal seal...

not sure I took off the CQ or just the Reoad but no matter, surface is nice again, no smudges of whatever it was....

Nice :bigups Thanks for following up with your results.

Now that I think of it, I used SF4500 on a black hybrid finishing pad with a FLEX 3401 to remove regular CQuartz (non UK edition) and it was less than a week since application. So it wasn't fully cured yet, and the UK edition has a higher concentration of SiO2 so it should be more difficult to remove. Glad to hear you were able to get those streaks out.

Better luck than I had

so spent all aft today on car after fender cleanup worked
white cool wave pad - meg 205 gg6 on speed 5
blue cool wave pad - blackfire TPnS - speed 2
blackfire CS - two coats

all reload smudges/streaks gone - car looks “glassy" again - I still think I have the CQUK, but what the hell do I know....

sorry, nite condo parking garage shot:

Daytime shot, love how CS cures:
