Search question

you can't search for some of the acronyms like #6 or #7 because it's too short. I've tryed ways but can't seem to find the key. Any tips on how to search for some of these?

Sorry, I've never used the search function so I don't know how to do what you are asking.....can you believe that??

BUT, to all the members that love to tell new members to SEARCH, please help this member out so he can do what you guys love to tell them.

RAP, you should get your answer shortly. Sorry for the delay.

That's a limitation of the software for the shorter terms like that.. But for two character terms you can add a * to the end.. Like 80*, 83*, etc. You'll get some extra results that way (i.e. 800), but it's better than nothing.

For 2 letter searches, use the * as a wildcard. The search function will pick something up.

Example:

Instead of #7, use #7*

For #80 try:

*#80 or #80*

Or try:

Speed and Glaze

For #7 try:

Show and Glaze

For a good link on #7 try:

#7

IMO, if you don't have #7 you really don't need it. Other products do what #7 does but they also serve other purposes. For instance, #80 will produce a similar gloss to #7 but it also polishes. VM cleans and also serves as a glaze. That is one reason why it is being discontinued...

I used #7 when my car was still 'curing' from new paint. I'll use it again under a carnauba when I feel like it. But if you don't have it, don't buy it...

I tried using the * as a wild card and it doesn't work for me. It seems that any of the uppe case on the numbers don't count in the minimum. using something like meg#80 without spaces did give me some returns though.

Thanks
