Sealed with Optimum

Been really busy lately with details and dodging the bad weather we have had (raining as I post this) so not much time to post.

My buddy Ron and I though detailed today a Ferrari Challenge and a one of a kind black Onyx Bentley made for the Queen of England........who turned down the car upon delivery. Since this is the only black Onyx Bentley of this kind I figured I would buff the heck out of it:D

The Bentley was justtrashed, it was so scratched it looked almost grey...no shine to the paint. Because of the bad weather I was unable to get outside BEFORE shots but took a few in the garage.

For those with a keen eye you can see the neglected paint.

Here's another one

Here is the hood after being polished with my rotary, LC white pad and IP. Some spots were then Cycloed with orange pads and/or white pads and IP also.

Here is a shot of the Bentley hood after being finished and sealed with OCW

While I did the Bentley my partner Ron finished the Ferrari Challenge with the Cyclo, orange pads and PG and then white pads with Meguairs #80, which was sent to me by Scottwax and something Ron or myself never tried. It worked nicely and then Ron sealed it with OCW. Again we could only get garage pictures and next Tuesday we go back to detail his other Ferrari and maybe install a few XPEL kits and hopefully we have better weather for some sunny pictures.

Nice pics, Anthony. Excellent job on the Bentley too.

I noticed you went straight from #80 to OCW. Speed Glaze does finish down pretty nicely, eh? :) Let me know what you think the more you use it.

Here is another Porsche that was detailed with Menzerna IP, FP and the topped with OCW. We also did a full XPEL install.

I hope to have more pictures later of more details, some with FMJ and others with OCW.

I have also been sent an interesting acrylic-sealant from a company to test out for them and look forward to using it as soon as the weather clears.

I'll post a review on that soon.

Anthony the cars look great! Is MP Einszett Machine Polish? Also do you have more full pics of the bentley?

How come I don't get sent products to test out? :( Lets us know how the acrylic-sealant test goes.

I guess when you have a choice of a free RR or a Bentley, you'd pick the RR (must be nice)

Great job Anthony (as always)

Did I write "MP"? Sorry if I did, that was then a typo:D I had meant it as "IP" for Menzerna Intensive Polish and FP for Final Polish.

Thank you, and also John, for the kind words and YES! I hope to have some full shots of the Bentley posted up, along with some more cars, as soon as the rain and cloudy weather goes up to Dallas to piss Scottwax off:p

After the storms roll through here in the next few hours, it is supposed to be dry the rest of the week with highs in the upper 60s to 70.
