scratches

I have a few scratches in my rear quarter panel of my Corvette.. i need info on how to get them out without hurting the paint, they look like their in the clearcoat

Well can you feel them with your fingernail? "Scratches" is a very broad term, believe it or not

Lol, no matter what you do, you're technically hurting the paint because you remove some when you polish it

If you can't even feel them with your finger nail, you could probably get away with just using a little bit of Meguiar's Scratch-X, and buff them out by hand. Just remember to read the instructions, and use as directed.

That's amazing, it works great on TV, let me see if I can find an appropriate smiley... :shocked:shocked



Try some Blue Magic metal polish on a soft cloth and go over it with some wax. If it's just a small scratch that should get you to the point where it's very hard to see and if it's more than that you probably shouldn't be cutting that deep anyway.
