Scratches in Vinyl Stripes

Hey guys/gals...it's been awhile. I just picked up a GT500 with white vinyl stripes. Under indirect lighting I could see hairline scratches in one part of these stripes. Is there a product I could use that will fill in these scratches..albeit temporarily? The scratches are barely noticeable...but I see them! lol

Also, I am very wary of putting any kind of abrasive/polish to these stripes.

thanks in advance

Look into Poorboys White Diamond showcar glaze. Ive used this on white stripes and their Black Hole on black stripes, both with good luck. Sealant or wax over that and you should be good to go. Im sure others will chime in with other product suggestions as well.

Second this one, what you don't want to do is try and rub with any aggressive product. You will take the color off the strip.

This one is a problem for most folks with Vinyl Stripes on their rides and IMO you cannot remove scratches out of vinyl stripes because vinyl doesn't lend itself well to be rub or polish out ( rub down too much ). A product I use to apply that seems to make it look very good is the Meguiar's Gold Class Trim Detailer.

I also have a gt500, I also would just use a sealant , or some fuzion or souveran on the stripes. I can tell you that, I had some light water spots or bird dropping that were visable under the right lighting condition and I did remove the defect. I am not suggesting you do this but I used some menzerna super finish by hand. A true scratch into the vinyl I doubt could be removed, a scruff to the surface probably could.

I should have been more clear that the water spots or bird droppings were on the vinyl stripe of my shelby.

True scratches in vinyl are sadly there to stay. A glaze will sometimes hide them, but thats about as far as you can go. Water spots and such can usually be polished out, but you have to move fast to avoid heat. As far as touch up paint goes, Dr Colorchip or Dupicolor tubes are your best bet without having a half pint of paint mixed up just for a few drops. What color are the stripes?

Edit - My apologies for the poor spelling. My phone is illiterate
