Scratches in Chrome

It happens rarely but I hired someone to detail my car for a local car show and come to find out the day after when I went to touch up my chorme wheels I see fine scratches in the chrome as if something abrasive has been used to clean them. Of course it's my word against his and he said he used nothing but soap and water but is there anything I can use to try and remove the fine scratches out of chrome or am I SOL.

A scratch can have a LOT of different meanings. Are they deep..are they swirls..micromarring?

A pic would help.
