Greetings all

I WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME FEEDBACK ON HOW SOME OF YOU HAVE DEALT WITH SCRATCHES IN THE PAST?

LIGHT SCRATCHES THAT ARE TEARS IN THE CLEAR, APPEAR WHITE?

HEAVIER SCRATCHES THAT HAVE PENETRATED THE CLEAR AND CREASED THE PANEL.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MINIMISE THE VISIBILITY OR ELIMINATE SUCH SCRATCHES IN THE PAST.

ANY FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED

You'll get a hundred different answers, but here's mine...

Basically, every time you wash, dry or QD your car, you're scratching the surface. Tiny scratches (even micro) true. But over time, they add up.

Because I wash my cars twice a week and QD almost every day, I use 3M SMR (Swirl Mark Remover) and then top coat with Zaino, about every 3-4 months.

This is a method that works well for me. 3M SMR can be hand or machine applied.

Keeps light scratches and micro-marring to a minimum, with a minimum of effort.....
