Scratch on a 911

I've got a 07 black 911 that scratch on one of the doors. The scratch is probably 6 inches long. I can slightly feel it with my fingernail. I've heard Porsche has really soft paint, what should I use on it? I have a PC and a Makita rotary. For polishes I have 106ff, SIP, and M105. Any recommendations?

Check depth, and it probably needs to be wet sanded.

If you can feel it with your fingernail though, you may only significantly reduce it bu rounding it off, as apposed to completely remove it. Sanding would be your best option as a first step, but check your depths.

Use your best judgment, but it seems like you've got the proper compounds.

What pads are you planning on using?

I find that a white CCS foam works great for correction after compounding with SIP on those soft single stage black Porsche paints.

106FF is amazing when really worked properly, and might I suggest 85RD to burnish the finish.
