Say goodbye '09 Audi A5 (1st BFWD experience)

There have been many posts about MF towels, just do a search. Yes, Tim at tacscar has good products. The best MF's are at yosteve.com and neatitems.com. For the price, these are the best 2 choices out there. Remember, a $2.99 MF will not be the same as Yosteve's or neatitems but probably better that nicsand and the other cheapies out there.

Tim is one classy guy. He'll take real good care of you. As for the microfiber towels, those towels that you're interested in are decent. You might also want to look into the neatitems towels. Very good towel at a very good price. The best overall value, however, belongs to the YoSteve microfiber towels. Laters

I recommend YoSteve/Magic/Ultimate towels as they are the plushest and highest quality ones I've ever used. I'd get them from YoSteve.com as no one had linting problems from him and his are cheaper.

There have been nothing but positive reviews on NeatItems.com MF towels too. I'm ordering 10 from the current aBay GP.

SO...

here are a couple of pics of my old A5 that i recently traded in.

this was my first use of BFWD, and i was impressed to say the least. Admittedly, my prep of the paint was minimal... i do know that it could have used a good claying and possibly some polishing, but all i gave it was a thorough washing and a good IPA wipe down. I know the results would have been better if i had gone farther prep wise... but since i kept the car in very good condition and i was preparing to get rid of it anyway, i decided this was good enough...

sorry for the picture quality, these were taken with my droid. a decent camera on a phone, but no match for the real thing...

wait a minute... seems i cant post pics... gotta figure this out... ill edit once i figure it out

very strange... seems i am not permitted to post attachements according to the little posting rules box down below...

whot to do...

and, yes... i did look at the how to section....

I think you have to have at least 10 posts before you are allowed to post pictures. The admin wants to make sure that people don't come on to this forum, and post some pics of products that they sell, and then bail.

Make a few more posts and try it again.

*hitting head on keyboard*

10 in the box... but nothing yet... ive got all these pics ready to go...the A5 and the new ride...this sucks... i hope this isnt just me missing something here...

Where did you upload the files to?

I always use photobucket and have never had a problem. I have also forwarded this message to admin! Thank you for your patience :D

After the trouble Autopia had when they were hacked, I chose to throw a switch that eliminated the ability for anyone to upload an attachment.
Just didn't want anyone to be able to upload anything into the TID nervous system.
To post your pics, please use Photobucket or such as your "photo bank" then, when you do a post, there is an icon to click on (it's the one that is yellow with what looks like a mountain) to embed your pic.
Also, with Photobucket, they have a way for you to just grab the code for your pick to embed it on forums.
BTW, the uploading photos as an attachment, would just give you a thumbnail pic, not a full size pic.

OK... lets try this again...

this still isnt working... ive got the pics photobucketed... perhaps theyre still too large?
