Save $77 on a Foam Lance

Just thought I'd share this. I picked up a foam lance just like the one from AG only without the Pinnacle/AG/BF label on the bottle for $42.99, as opposed to the $119.99 that AG charges. I contacted the manufacturer asking about spare bottles and caps for extra detergent tanks, and while they don't offer separate bottles for sale (even though their site lists a part number), I was told this:

A replacement or spare bottle with cap is not currently offered. We do know that end users like yourself have purchased aftermarket bottles that work. The size of the bottle provided with the foamer is 1 liter. A comparable bottle in the us market is a 32oz bottle with a 28/400 “cap size� or thread pitch. The style of bottle that you will want to source is a cylinder bottle.

U.S. Plastics does have some 32oz bottles with the 28/400 cap, so if you're like me and just want to quick swap bottles without cleaning out soaps or cleaners it can work.

Also, if you have a Karcher or other PW with a funky fitting, be sure to find an adapter for it as this is the "normal" QD type fitting most PWs have.

I hope you are very happy with your MTM cannon. Please send some pics when you have used it. It seems as of lately that there have been a few people on other forums that have found that compared to the higher priced cannons, this one really does't do much in terms of thick foam that last a long time.



I brought up the idea on another forum to have one person try a few different cannons and see which one was better. There are too many factors if different people give their thoughts. One person using the same PW and the same amount of soap with the same type of water would give a really good idea of how these perform imo.

I plan on using this for Dawn and CGCW (Dawn for surface strip/prep, CGCW for the really caked on mud jobs), so I'll get some side-by-side pics of the foaming ability of the "G" foamer and this MTM lance.



If you're worried about the site running out of stock (last I checked WayFair's site said they had 9 left after I ordered mine), I subscribed to getting notified when they restocked and it took about a week for them to resupply on them, so it doesn't look like they're getting rid of them any time soon. I was able to get a hold of a 10% off coupon code for the site that was good for 24hrs, it actually came off of one of the "smart" banner ads from this site that came up since it knew I had browsing cookies of WayFair.com.



PS - I placed my order very late Wed night (5/9), received shipping confirmation this morning (2:01 AM on 5/11) and it should be here on Tues (5/15). It shipped from Eden, MN and I'm located in NC, so your shipping time may be faster than mine depending on location.
