sap cleaning helper

I've been using iso alcohol and a microfibre to clean sap and bird shots.

Does a pretty good job, but some sap and shots need a little help. M<y fingernails are getting tired. Is there some other semi stiff plastic type edge that can be used to help the stuff off?
