Same procedure but different results??

OK,

I decided I would give the PC a try out since it'd been sitting in the garage for almost 2 weeks since I received it.

Here's my process:

Meguiars Wash

DACP w/ yellow pad- worked until gone and powdery on 4-5

Menzerna IP- White Pad - worked until almost gone on 4

Menzerna FP- Black pad until gone

Mothers Sealer & Glaze

I used the same process on the driver (left) and passenger sides of the car, but got a much better and deeper wet look on the driver's side.

The right side still looks somewhat "hazy." It just doesn't look as "clear" as the driver's side. I'm stumped because I used the exact same process on both sides!

Do I need something stronger than DACP on the right side? What do you guys think I should try?

It may be hard to tell, but the driver's side is A LOT clearer and deeper than what the pictures show.

I cant see the pictures at the moment, but were the paint conditions on both sides the same before you started? Maybe the right side had more hazing or some form of damage to start with.

Maybe you didn't break the DACP down fully on the passenger side. From what I've been told about that product, if it isn't worked in correctly then it will leave a haze.

This happened to me .. I couldn't see the pix but I have a black VW and the clear is very hard .. DACP hazed it so I started using DACP on a white pad and only a yellow pad if needed then I followed with IP/FP on white pads.

Try redoing the door with DACP on a white pad then the Menzerna.
