Does anyone know what the roundabout price is for carpet replacement in a sedan?

Depends, usually a couple hundred on up for kits. I spent nearly $600 for a two seater.

It also depends on what type of car you are talking about. The size of the car, and the quality of carpet that should be in it. I have seen carpet from about $300 for small to mid-size "family" sedans that was not the best quality, all the way up to around $3,000-$5000 for some Rolls and Bentley.
