As many of us have reasons to be thankful this time of year, some families have the blues... Many families have had personal, family, or friends with illnesses that relate to cancer, I know I have.:(
So as our last sale of the year, we will give a Natty's Blue or Polish w/ Carnauba Blue (your choice) with every sale over $25 and make a donation of 20% of that sale to Gilda's Club ( Gilda's Club - Our Organization )
This is a great organization founded for cancer patients, their families and friends in the memory of Gilda Radner (Saturday Night Live fame) . There are chapters of their club all over the world if you are interested in attending or donating yourself :bigups

Thanks again to all and have a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season and New Year :)

I hope we can raise some money for this cause as most money is raised for curing cancer and very little is raised for treating the survivors and the families that affected by someone who had cancer, I can tell you it can change the whole family's life too. :passout:
 
I'd like to thank Lexus13 for making a donation to Gilda's Club through Poorboy's World :bigups... since he did not want to receive products, I will match his donation :cool:
 
Somebody throw in $50.00 and I'll match it. I did it for two reasons. Gilda's club is a very good cause. Secondly Steve is a real nice guy and if he is prepared to do something nice then why not help.

thanks I'm sure your generosity and good wishes will be very much appreciated by the kids and families that depend on Gilda's Club :rockonPoorboy's World will match all donations too. We have a lot to be thankful for as a good friend said ;)

I know I don't post very often, but I'd like to challenge all the Detailcity.org members to step up and make a donation, however large or small, to this great organization.

Just an update ... we received a very nice letter from Gilda's Club thanking us for the $250 donation...
The social worker we know there was very surprised and grateful that an on-line board would collect and make a donation :bigups
