Do you mix your Z6 with Distilled water to help it go a little farther?
I havent done it yet, but have been thinking about it. Any tips?

I had thought about this topic for the Kahuna but forgot about it until today's ONR thread.
Here are some practices that are intended to reduce the change of swirls.
1. Two or more buckets
2. Foam cannon, foam gun
3. rinsing mitt with stream of water (either prior to putting in rinse bucket or instead)
4. using a blower to dry vehicle
5. soap lubricity
6. more than one wash mitt (upper, lower)
7. washing top down
8. power rinsing vehicle very well prior to washing
9. using a specific wash media (grout sponge, wool, mf)
10. using specific drying towels
11. grit guards
12. washing small areas at a time (like not doing the entire roof then rinsing)
13. Insuring the vehicle is actually clean before you dry it
14. pressure applied to wash mitts
15. just paying attention to what you are doing
16. special incantation
The question is which of the above techniques (or suggest others) really make the biggest difference in prevention of swirls.
For discussion, consider a moderately dirty vehicle (no caked on mud) where power washing would be needed anyway.
I think the items that make the biggest difference in terms of preventing swirls are:
1. 2 BM
2. Grit Guard
3. Leaf Blower
4. Quality WW MF
How do 2 BM's help your car?
Sorry, I couldn't resist
