Saab Story:)

I did this Saab today a 1999 convertible with pretty bad marring on the paint and the hood was chipped up.

I washed and clayed the car

SSR 2.5 with rotary, started w/ DACP but just too dusty, I like the SSR line much better.

Natty's by hand

Magic Eraser tire cleaner

NXT insane shine on tires

All Season on trim

Damn, where's the crying smiley?

Looks great. Does it have a clear coat? For somereason I have this impression that Saabs are single stage.

This one had a clear coat. I wonder why they would make single stae paint?

Great job on the Saab. Do you like all season dressing? I just picked up a gallon and wondering how it compares to others.

Tires look great. For all the complaints that NXT Tire Shine was too shiny I think that those came out great....:up

Yeah it is great stuff for use on trim and wheel wells.

My 92' had a single stage, yet my 87' had a clear :nixweiss

You went from 2.5 to Nattys? Impressive!!:xyxthumbs

I'm always cleaning up my rotary holograms with a mild polish and PC before final wax :o

Nice work

Wow, that looks awesome. The tires look great. I love the sheen those Michelin tires give off with those little grooves in the sidewall.

I like the NXT Insane shine, it is pricey but i have noticed that it doesn't take as much as normal cans of tire spray to cover your tires. I like the initial shine that you get without buffing the tire but at $7 bucks a pop I'll stick with Hyper.

You may want to check out Menzerna if you haven't already. I can almost go from Powergloss to an LSP. They are much less likely to marr when used with the rotary.

That looks great!:bow There is nothing better than a perfectly detailed black paint job. You have succesfully made that cars value increase by a substancial amount. Great job!

You used a Magic Eraser to clean the tires? Very unique! Does it work very well?

Yeah they make a 4 pack just for wheels now, I got it at Wally in the auto section. I used it to remove leftover brake dust and stuff.

I just purchased some SSR2.5 and SSR1. I will be using a PC. My paint is not nearly as bad as that, will the 2.5 be overkill. I wanted to remove some scratches. Will the 2.5 leave marring with a PC?

Thanks,

Steve
