S100

I started using S100 wax. My first time using it I was not that impressed with it, but I used it again this morning and I am beginning to take a liking to it. My queation is; does anyone use any of the other products like the wheel cleaner or the detail plus wax aerosol? I am cosidering buying these products. I notice P21S does not make the same products and the S100 wheel cleaner is cheaper too. I almost forgot, does S100 have a web site?

Thanks

Their wheel cleaner is very good, but those who've tried the Detail Plus Wax have been underwhelmed. You can probably find a ton of S100 and P21S threads in the product discussion forum that should help you out.

I used P21S carnauba for the first time on Saturday. It was so easy to put on and take off I cannot believe I have never used it before. Also being "solid" I found I used hardly any, it must be better value than most other waxes on the market. Oh yeah, the shine looked great and it beads like hell (it is raining lots in the UK today)

sp325i.....P21s is a class product, i find myself waxing after a wash its so easy to apply and its the slickest wax ive ever used.

Lucky i use microfibre, the towls justs slip off the bonnet!

the P21S Carnauba Look wax certainly is nice but I find it to be a bit fragile compared to something like Blitz which offers a comparable shine but a lot more staying power.

The P21S is great for a non-daily driver...easy to apply...easy to remove and no messes left behind. It's just a nice product to work with :up

it also works great as a topper. I used it once on top of 2 layers of Zaino, and it really added some depth. . .

Yes, but Blitz leaves white residue on black trim after a couple rain falls. I like Blitz but have stopped using it beacuse of this. I'll use it on my wheels along with Collinite Insulator Wax. Plus it can be a PITA to remove and leaves caked residue in cracks if you're not careful which bakes on.

I use P21s as a top coat for my VW VR6 daily driver. I wax once a month or every 5 weeks. Car looks great. In fact it gets better with age!

I think the combo of Vanilla Moose topped with P21s for a car without serious swirls is great as far as ease of application, removal and overall apearance. I've settled on this as my regimen. I want to try Souveran and the Carnuba Moose instead of the P21s to see the difference if any.

I like to layer P21S/S100 over Klasse AIO, I get the durability of Klasse and that deep shimmering gloss of carnuaba without the staining. I use both P21S & S100, there's not a dimes worth of difference between them as far as I'm concerned. I think most of the other S100 products are the same as the P21S products and are close to the same price. A $10 difference between the P21S & S100 wax however is enough to make me convert to S100 for good!

I've used the detail spray wax, it's OK. I see it as a bit more than a QD, a bit less than a complete re-wax. It's a nice product to use after Xenit or bug & tar removal.

It's kind of expensive, though, and here is where economics of scale (bike vs car) come into effect: a $12 can will do the tank on your Harley a hundred times, but it will do your Tahoe twice.

I might take a ride to the HD store and look for some S100 tomorrow.

How many times can you wax an average size vehicle with a container of S100? If you could get at least 10, that's $1.50 each. Pretty economical to me, let's not consider the labor which we all know is priceless!

I'd think you'd better get more than 10; how big is the can, 8 oz? I get about 30 waxes out of an 8 oz can of Souv, but I don't think, at $60 a can, that it's economical.

You probably can get the same 30 out of the S100, I'm just making the "less is better" point.

The spray wax is a different experience. A can costs about $12, and is noticeably less full after one automotive use. But, it's easy to use and, being a true wax and not a QD, is good for touchup or quickly restoring shine. That being said, I very rarely use it, if ever. I'm probably going to give it to my brother in law.

I just got back from Noto's HD, and picked up S100 and SEPC, both for $18 (the counterman couldn't get the S100 to ring up, so he rang up the SEPC twice)!

Now I see where you're getting the "10 applications"; on the S100 can, it says you should get 25 applications on your motorcycle. I'd say you can get 25 applications on your car. Use thin coats.

Now that my Miata has enjoyed the Klasse Twins. Ms SG three times  Maybe more coming :xyxthumbs

I will top with S100.

In my prior life I put S100 over NuFinish. It was kinda hard to get off.

What is the best was to remove S100 once applied?

Klasse AIO will take off Nufinish, so it should remove S100 easily since it is a carnuaba wax. P21S Total Auto Wash will also remove it. I'm sure there are many other products that will work also.

I'm getting 30-40 per jar, depending on the size of the vehicle. Very thin coats are all that is needed.
