S100

DaGonz

Autopia fire/rescue.
I got to try out the S100 today.. I detailed a 2001 Nissan Sentra (radium silver) for one of the firefighters on my group.

the process..

Washed with Meguiar's Gold Class.

Tar removal with Solv-all solvent.

Washed again

Clayed.

Polished with the PC with Meguiar's #2 fine cut cleaner on the yellow cutting pad to remove the winter scratches.

Polished with Meguiar's #3 on the white pad.

2 coats of Liquid Glass (by hand) topped with S100....nice!

I've got that Liquid Glass/S100 combo on my Stone White Grand Cherokee, right now. It looks great! I bet it looks even better on silver and darker colors! :xyxthumbs

Pics? Why do you tease us and then not please us..... with pics?

I don't have a digital camera (yet). Saturday afternoon I did the method on a Topaz blue 2001 BMW Z3. I thought the Sentra looked nice...the Z3 looked fantastic! :spot

Yesteday I used my SPEC and S100 wax on my black TL. I am very pleased w/the results. However, as I was working, I noticed speider veins and some water spots. IS is possible to go back and use 3M fine cut to remove the veins and the water spots. I clayed my car about a month ago. Yesterday It did not feel as smooth as the first time. How often should one clay? I need to black paint to shine w/o imperfections. Is is possible to use #m fine cut w/o a PC. I have yet to buy one. I prefer to do most of my deatiling by hand.. ;)
