S100 Crumbles Like Feta Cheese

S100 is the first paste wax that I tried... after all is said and done, it looks really good...

Only thing is, I find it really hard to get any useable amount onto my applicator... (i'm applying the wax by hand)

Should i put it in the sun first for a half hour to melt it a little? Because, I basically had to dig into the paste with a MF towel and break little pieces off...

Any suggestions... I was using Meguiar Gold Class liquid before.

Thanks.

You don't need to dig into it, just rub the app on it and the friction is enough to melt enough to do the small area. It may not seem like you have any wax on it, but spread it around and it only takes a thin layer.

thanks for the quick response.

a thin layer huh? that is all that is needed?

i have a silver car and it's kinda hard to see how much/if anything is on there...

but i guess i'll keep that in mind next time.

Yep, a very thin layer.

When you buff it out you remove most of the wax, so a thick layer is:

1. a waste

2. more effort to remove

3. clogs the buffing towel quicker
