My wifes Montero has these hard black rubber running boards that are weathered gray. I've tried Westleys, tire foam, vinyl protectent, just to name a few, to get them back to black. Everything splotches and washes right off. Anybody know of a product that will work on restoring these? Thanks!

Try Forever Black. I used it on a Jeep Wrangler whose rubber fender extensions had faded to gray...i t got them nice and black again!
I had good results with Mothers Back to Black on some rubber bumpers that were awfully chalky/grey. This thread has my review plus some other folks' recommendations. BTW, what really made the difference in getting the most out of Back to Black was giving the bumpers a couple of good brush/washings with APC+ beforehand. ... YMMV, of course.

If the trim is faded from UV exposure and you want something that actually lasts. Try www.autotint.com ETR II kit. Under $50 I think and it restores/redyes the trim piece.
