RUF Turbo R Detail

This is a genuine RUF car w/ a RUF Vin #. Just did a real quick one on this (well it wasn't quick) Just did a clay and a wax. This car is in desperate need of polishing and maybe even a wet sand. The owner drives it and doesn't worry about it's looks. He uses the car for ORR races and usually avgs 190 mph so you can imagine the bug grime stuck to it. Car was a real beast too, this is my all time dream car and has been since the 993TT came out, it was unreal. I recieved a very nice spirited drive :D



Pics aren't great, i'll get real good ones when I polish it out when he's done w/ his next race (end of August, didn't want my work to go to waste so we are waiting ont he polishing).



Used Natty's Paste Wax

A lot of the car is kevlar and carbon fiber, he didn't do the fenders or doors though because of what he uses it for and needed the extra safety, but the bumpers, hood, and engine bonet are.

avgs 190mph?? cool if possible!!!



'average' being the doubtful term!



you could have said you polished it, and i'd believe ya,,,looks real nice actually.

Easily, with room to spare.



I watched a documentary and the builders need to test the car. With the driver, passenger and a camera guy, they did over 200mph on the Autobahn. They did a closeup of the speedo. They do the test driving at 3am to limit the traffic. They blew by a cop car, but no worries!

edit: did some quick research: "The suspension is engineered for a maximum speed of more than 219 mph."
