hey all, im new to the forms (obviously by the post count)
ive been doing wet sanding/buffing at a body shop for about 2 months now,
i have been using this buffer that winds up to 6 grand, but its so old and beat up that the trigger only functions at an on/off setting and i cant read the part number or the brand off the label. does anyone know of a high speed buffer that i can buy brand new that gets up to higher than 3K? the new porter cable and dewalt only go up to 2500 and 3000, but i like to run the wool pad at 3500-3800 after wet sanding becuase it makes the work quicker and gets the same result as low speed buffing. ive been doing high speed buffing for like 3 years now so i know how to control the machine at those speeds and not burn edges of the panels. Thanks guys!
looking through these forums, im surprised i havent found this site before now, i have never seen such a huge compilation of detailing tips before, awesome site guys
