Ron K's Value Guard?

Has anyone tried Ron K's value guard stuff? Not the ABC system , the sealents and waxes.I bet if 20 or more of us want to test it , we may be able to do a group buy? Maybe he could sell us a 1/2 gallon of each product and then we could break it up. What do you guys think?
 
Well, which AutoInt. ValuGard product are you talking about? I have heard sucess from their OEM One-Step Cleaner/Sealant and PDMS dressing. And I love their ABC system and I'm sorta interested when I'm running out.

If anyone wants to do a group buy for ABC, I am sooooooo in..



I hate to keep suggesting these things without actually doing one - but with the wife expecting any day now, people would be left high and dry waiting for their supplied :confused:

My first posting here on the magnificent forum. Just to let you know that I now use both ABC and Carnauba Cream Wax on my customers cars and (for commercial purposes) I don't think there are many other waxes I would use instead. I bought a box of the stuff and imported it and find its better than anything available here in Ireland. It is a polymer based wax, as you may have seen, and is far better than the Autoglym sealants that I had previously been using.



However (don't you love those howevers) on my own car, I did import Zaino - purely because I stumbled across the praise it received here on Autopia. The cost and application of the Z products don't allow me to use them commercially. That's okay though, Valugard is really good ( and I am fussy- trust me!) and compares quite well if I examine shine, depth and durability. My customers are delighted as well, though they aren't as critical as I am.

I've used both Valugard's OEM One Step and their Rubber Protectant. I would compare the One Step to AIO. The Protectant is a good (non oily) product.

Both products are certainly reasonably priced and appear to be good quality.
 
I would definitely be interested in a group buy if there was enough interest. I'm not sure if a group buy is necessary for some of their polishes though because they appear to be selling them by pints and quarts. Am I reading the website wrong? A group buy for the ABC system would be good though. A gallon of A,B, & C would definitely be too much.



According to the Ketchmeister himeself, the 'carnauba cream' product is fully compatible with their sealant. So is their premium warranty product and their OEM one step (but not their 'Clearcoat Polish').
 
When you go into the product section it only lists them as coming in gallons or cases. When you go into the actual store it does show them being sold in single quart bottles. The One-Step is a great price if it is as good as Klasse.

I have used the paint perfection one step swirl mark remover with paint sealant with good results on beaters. It is step up from the mass market, generic, bulk, detailing products you find in gallon lots marketed towards pro detailers, hi volume dealers, and body shops, at the same price.

I am surprised of the interest here for these types of generic "hi volume" professional products for your personal vehicles.
