Planning on putting a few check marks next to items on my bucket list with this trip.
I need some help from a few west coast members. Might be someone that can help.
Flying into LAX and driving a rental car north to San Jose before flying home.
For the trip, I have a few stops planned on the north side of LA.
- Venice Beach
- Santa Monica Pier
- couple friends places....
Then going north, we plan to take Highway 33 through the Los Padres National Forest. From there, headed east to Highway 1 on the coast somewhere around Cambria and continuing north to Carmel area. *driving that road is one of the items on the bucket list*
A few roads to the north side of San Jose near Stanford University.
Planning 1 week to cover 500 miles.
Looking for suggestions on places to eat, stay and see. *have a few key stops planned*
