Charlton Heston was one of my top favorite actors of all time, and "Ben-Hur" one of the best movies ever made. He also was just about the only name in Hollywood who had the guts to stand up to the looney-left and for real constitutional rights. He was a class act. Rest in peace, Mr Heston.

It's sad, but they really isn't many of the classic actors left. But as others have pointed out, he was much more than just a movie star.
