Ridgid vacuum

Just purchased a Ridgid vac with the detail kit. When using the detail kit it makes a loud whistle sound. Is this normal? Kinda annoying. It only happens with the detail hose not the stock one.

You can attach to stock hose to the detail hose is that how your running it?

No, just detail hose straight to vac.

Most likely is happening because of how small the detail hose is and the power pulling through it. Attach it to the bigger stock hose and see if that works...

Mine did the same thing when i bought the hose, but i have since upgraded to a more powerful vacuum, which included a better hose and attachments imo.
