Picked up a 5.0 horse 12 gallon at home depot today for 29.97. Sales good until next week, but supplies lloked to be limited. Just thought I'd share.

I have a Craftsman that looks to be almost identical to that unit. I paid about $60 for mine on sale and have no regrets. At $29.95 I'm tempted to buy another one.

One thing I really like about that style is the stability of the unit. It's short and has a wide wheel base so it doesn't tip over when you pull it around by the hose.

That's tempting. However, I just bought a Metro Vac and was going to pitch my shop vac, but then the wife says, just buy a cartridge for it and keep it for dirty work.
Well, please don't laugh. I detailed it and am keeping it. :redface:
It's great for picking up those nasty, unidentifiable items in some of those mom taxi's and construction pick up trucks. :idea

Yeah I thought so to. I got the ad in my email this morning and the paper one in the mail about 30 minutes ago. The box says to compare it to the 1250 79.00 retail one.
I don't think that is an accurate representation of this forum.I think folks are suspect here until about 1,000 posts!....
Of course some of us are extremely too busy making money for that many posts!

I went over my carpet from yester day done with my 2 horse shop vac, and it pulled up so much dirt left in there. I love the 5.
