Greetings Forum,
I was recently sent a sample of Klasse's "Vinly, Leather, Plastic and Rubber Cleaner Protectant" to try out.
I must first point out that this is my second attempt at posting a review of this product as my first (very lengthy) set with the cyber sunset when we had a freal power interuption JUST before I was ready to hit the "submit" button:angry
So this review will be short and sweet.
The Klasse dressing does clean well but not great. It is best used as a cleaner/protectant on slightly dirty surfaces and for the real dirty surfaces I would use the proper pre-cleaners. My weapon of choice here is "Deep Down".
The Klasse dressing though is a fantastic dressing because it leaves the surfaces with a low sheen that really enhances the natural look of the material with just enough gloss to let you know it has been dressed.
I polished our wood end tables with the Klasse and they really came out nice, no greasy residue at all after it was buffed.
For leather, the "coated" type, the Klasse is the best dressing I have used yet. My usually choice was "Best Dressed" but I would have to now lean slightly in favor of the Klasse. It leaves a slight deepining to the leather color but not a shiny, glossy look.
The smell is a hate it or love it deal. It has at first a real chemical type smell but it then leaves you with a sweety after smell. But no bother because the smell will not linger for long. The product is also clear as water with about the consistency of water, perhaps a tad thicker.
It is best applied with a yellow applicator sponge as a little goes along way, and it cleans up easy off of windows:up
The Klasse dressing is just what the professional detailer needs if he or she is looking to streamline their product line as it covers a wide variety of materials. If you desire a high sheen then Klasse's dressing is not going to make you very happy but for those of you who like a more natural sheen then this may be another "AIO" type product.
I am not yet sure about the durability of the Klasse but I am sure it is very good. I might post an update on that after a few weeks.
Thank You,
Anthony
