Next time I use it, I'll check again. It just seems from moving it in the bottle it's watery. I'll try to pour it onto the applicator next time. Its more than just blue water IMO, almolst like a liquid gel. Has a unique consistency IMO.
I assume it would, but I did not blot.Does blotting some of it with a towel reduce the shine at all?
On the encouragement of Nick (Tuck91) I recently purchased some ASD, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm not sure why. I've been using water-based dressings and while they don't last that long, the tires do clean up nicely and easily, even with ordinary car wash solution. I have simply gotten into the habit of re-applying dressing every time I wash the car.
I have also been scared off a little bit by the claims advanced on some forms that dimethylsiloxane, one of the active ingredients in ASD, is harmful to tire rubber in various ways. I have never seen this scientifically substantiated, yet it has discouraged me from pulling the trigger.
Any thoughts?
