Review: EINSZETT: Cockpit Premium

I decided to try Cockpit Premium after reading David's description at the Autopia Store. I've been using 303 Protectant for the past 4 years on my interior with very nice results, though I always thought the anti-static properties of 303 were a bit lacking.

I applied Cockpit Premium with a foam applicator quite easily. The product spreads well and doesn't seem to just sit on top of the vinyl, but appears to almost absorb on contact. I really didn't know how well it cleaned until I rinsed out the applicator and saw all the dirt.

After applying, I was going to wipe everything down (and you've just got to love that smell) with a damp MF like I do with 303 to even-out the protectant, remove any streaks, and to get the matte finish I'm looking for. But with Cockpit Premium I didn't have to, for the eveness and matte look were just perfect.

It's now going on 2 weeks, and the finish looks as good as it did on day 1. Besides the great matte finnish the other great thing about this product is the anti-static properties. Simply amazing! I won't say that I haven't wiped it down with a MF a couple of times. But this product by a long shot repels dust like nothing I've used in the past.

My supply of 303 will now be strictly used on my vinyl spa cover.

Nice review. I have some Cockpit Premium, but still have not done a full blown test yet. :o Does the smell go away after a short time? It seems somewhat over powering when you smell it in the bottle.
