Return of the Chat Night !!!

Forum member Trouble started a thread asking for us to reconsider having chat nights, which is something this forum use to do years ago. I have decided to go forward with this idea and re-implement this idea due to your support.

The chat night will be weekly. I am thinking Monday nights. What time works best, knowing that we have members on both coasts?

Also, I would love to have guest speakers. Who would you guys like to see? We could do guest detailers, educators like Mike Phillips, or company representatives. I will ask whoever you would like to see.
 
Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday work for me about 8:00 pm est. Having a guest or a scheduled topic will keep things operating smoothly.
 
8pm or so works for me. Guest speakers are a fantastic idea !!!! I would love to have some from some of the product lines that Autopia carries...(1Z, Optimum, etc).
 
Gotta pick a time that doesn't keep the right side from going to bed and gives the left side a chance to get home from work.

Maybe we can get that guy from "Bella Macchina" to do some tips and tricks. I heard he is pretty good at detailing.
 
Would love to learn more about the new Gtechnig line from the manufacturer. Will be trying their stuff shortly and you know I have a lot of questions first. And would love to see video's before jumping into the line.
 
I would suggest the chat room be always open but have several themes, contests, featured guests, etc. to stimulate interest.
 
I think some of the demos and live web cams that were done similarly when the TID chat room was up and running would be a great idea.

Oh boy...chat night. Some of those chat nights from Truth in Detailing were a sight to be hold, let me tell you. It was truly one of those "if you weren't there, then you missed out" times.

Yeah, I'd love to see it always open, just pop in and see what's going on, but also have the dedicated chat nights, maybe twice a week? One being a general meet up and the other having a topic.
 
One request;

Please make sure the "chat box" works well with the IPad. Another forum has a Thurs night chat and the chat box doesn't work well with the IPad...
