Repair small tear in leather. How to?

I have this small tear in my seat. This surface is simulated leather, because I think only the seating surfaces are real leather. The tear doesn't bother me as much as the thought that I'm going to catch it with something and make it worse. Anyone have experience with this? I'm not looking for a fancy leather repair kit with texturing templates etc, just a way to "fix" it. Thanks.

Don't remember where it is, but somewhere around here, Todd did a leather repair. SO you may want to look for it.

IMO I would let someone that knows how to do this. I have a local guy that works with the dealerships on leather and vinyl repairs. Most all dealerships will have a go to person for this service. contact them and ask who they are using

That's my take because anytime I've attempted something like this the results where never what I wanted

Thanks for that Ron but that's the kind of thing I didn't want to get involved in. I just want to "glue it shut" with something flexible, but having searched for a while, I'm leaning towards Beemerboy's advice, and find a pro.
