Repainting and Liquid Glass

Last week I was rear ended. The repairs will reqire some repainting. I use to use Liquid Glass but for the past few months I have been using NXT.



The FAQ's on Liquid Glasses website state

For repainting, Varsol or mineral spirits should be used with steel wool.

Should I warn the body shop that I've used Liquid Glass? It seems to me they should be doing a thorough surface prep anyway that would include measures necessary to remove any kind of sealants or waxes anyway. Thoughts.

Sure, they should know how to prep, but to be safe, I would tell them anyway. It just covers your end...
