I'm detailing my dad's 8yr old q45 (never been clay'd, waxed, etc..., washed like once every 2 to 3mths :hm ) - had to go through 3 clay bars before I stopped pulling crap off the paint, but there's 1 area that is vexing me - on the rear lower quarter panel he's got a ~3'' scratch. It's pretty deep, you can stick your nail in it pretty much.
At some point in time he went through some tar and the side was splashed with it - cleaned it all off, except for the tar that's lodged inside the scratch.
Is there any simple way to "pull" it of the scratch? Like I said, the scratch is pretty long and deep and the tar has made a nice home there, so I'm thinking it's stuck there without wetsanding and getting really hardcore abotu it......
