Removing sticky grass

My car was assaulted by lawn care while I was at work today. The whole front end had nasty muddy water spots and grass shavings all over. I removed most of the water spots with a quick detailer easily enough, but the grass seems to be stuck pretty well to the car. What is the best way to remove it?

This past Saturday, I cleaned the whole exterior and applied Poorboy's EX and Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax (too little light was left to try a paste wax for the first time). It looked great then. I'm hoping there is a good way to get the grass off without removing the EX, too.

Thanks for the help!

Good to hear that a wash should be enough. I haven't seen solid matter like grass stick so well, so I was getting worried.

In case another beginner at this sort of thing has trouble with sticky grass, I found treating the grass like splattered bugs works OK. I used one of those paint-safe sponges to help out. I also was a bit aggressive with a quick detailing type spray to remove what I missed after the car was dry. Washing alone was not enough.
